After reviewing the IdBL Ultimate Division rules regarding dashboard height, sensor positioning and viewable area in the windshield, the IASCA Rules Committee has made amendments to the rules for these sections.

Here is a brief overview and the page listing in the full page rules download:

Sensor placement has been amended to include the OEM windshield frame (page IdBL-9)

Viewing area on the windshield has been reduced from 720 sq. in to 576 sq. in., to accommodate smaller vehicles with smaller windshields (Page IdBL-25)

Dashboard height rule has been amended to include dash height above “OR BELOW” the base of the OEM windshield frame (page IdBL-26)
All amendments are highlighted in red in the full page pdf file. All IASCA printed rule books will not show the highlight. In the half page version of the rule book (the one that fits in the binder) the amendments are located on page IdBL-15 for the sensor placement, IdBL-51 for the windshield viewing area and page IdBL-52 for the dashboard height rule.
